

Clinton- Frances B. Pudeler died peacefully on August 5, 2008 at the age of 84. She was born on August 4, 1924 on Glenwood Road in Clinton to the late Clarence and Carrie (Miller) Bradley. She was married to Carl Pudeler 65 years ago on July 2, 1943.
She leaves behind four children Kenneth Pudeler, Harriet Ebert, Irene Donald, and Earl Pudeler as well as six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Frances was very active with genealogy and a member of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists. She researched her ancestry back to the Mayflower and found that she was a descendent of John Alden, William Brewster and many others along the way. She had been an active member of the Clinton Homemakers, Westbrook Senior Citizens, the Clinton Exercise Club and the Clinton Leisure Club. She enjoyed sewing quilts and baby blankets for her relatives near and far. Frances was a wonderful wife and mother. Her family was always most important to her.
Family and friends may visit Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton on Friday, August 8th from 5:00 to until the time of a memorial service at 7:00 p.m.. Interment will be held on Monday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Indian River Cemetery in Clinton.
