

Jack James Criscuolo age 68 husband of Elaine Maynard Criscuolo passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2015 at Westerly Hospital. Born on June 8, 1947 in New Haven, CT he was the son of James and Mary Criscuolo. He had resided in Woodbridge, CT for 25 years followed by Oxford, CT for 10 years. He had attended and graduated from Amity Regional High School class of 1965 and the University of New Haven class of 1969 with a degree in Business Administration and was in the banking industry for 30 years. Mr. Criscuolo was employed by Connex Credit Union as a banker and commercial lender, retiring in 2009. He served with the US Army Reserves from 1970-1976. He was a parishioner/member of Our Lady of the Assumption in Woodbridge, CT, followed by St Thomas the Apostle church in Oxford, CT. He was also a member of the Civitan, Lions, and Rotary Clubs. Besides his spouse Elaine he is survived by his daughter Aimee Criscuolo Beck and her husband John Beck of Clinton, CT, and his son Jason Criscuolo and his wife Julia Clarke Criscuolo of Reading, MA. He also has 4 grandchildren who lit up his life, Calleigh and Addyson Beck and Jake and Justin Criscuolo. He is also survived by his brother Andrew Criscuolo and his wife Gracelyn as well as his sister Carmela Shanahan and her husband Joe. His nephews are Alfred Criscuolo, Andrew Criscuolo JR, and Tim Shanahan. He is predeceased by his parents Mary and James Criscuolo as well as his nephew Joseph Shanahan.
Friends and family may visit the Swan Funeral Home at 80 E. Main St. Clinton, CT on 08/07/2015 from 5-8pm. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held at Saint Mary's Church of the Visitation on 08/08/2015 at 11am. Burial to follow at River Bend Cemetery in Westerly, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Make a Wish Foundation.
