Jeannine M. Reinwald

Reinwald- Jeannine M. Reinwald, 69, of Clinton passed peacefully on August 18, 2010 after a long illness at Apple Rehab (Fowlers) in Guilford. She was born to Joseph and Ernestine Paquette on April 15, 1941, in Mapleville Rhode Island. She married the love of her life, Emil Leo Reinwald, III, on November 9, 1957 in Rhode Island, and then moved to Connecticut. Jeannine was employed by Apple Healthcare at Watrous Nursing Center for over 17 years as the Admissions/ Marketing Director. She was a member of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. She loved to travel with her husband. Many weekends were spent at their cottage in the Poconos. They spent time in Fort Meyers Beach Florida every year with friends and enjoyed many cruises together. Her real passion was raising her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her four children; Emil Leo Reinwald, IV (Patti); Mary Ellen Ierardi (Marc); Alice Lee (Steven); and Amy Pepler (Michael). She has twelve grandchildren known to them as (Mama), whom she was most proud of: Kennedy and Michael Dean Pepler; Andrew, Daniel, Joseph, John Michael and Matthew Lee; Jacqueline, Maria and Scott Ierardi; Emil and Stephanie Reinwald. She is also survived by her brother Abel Paquette of Pascoag RI; her sister in law Alice (Reinwald) Kiaunis and husband Walter along with four nephews and a niece. Jeannine spent her last years residing at Fowlers Convalescent Home (Apple Rehab) in Guilford. The staff not only took loving, respectful care of her, but became her family. Visitation will be Monday August 23, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Swan Funeral Home 80 East Main Street Clinton Ct. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 24, 2010 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church Clinton. Burial will follow in Beaverbrook Cemetery, Clinton.
