at the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT. Jon was born in Buffalo, NY,
but has been a resident of Clinton for most of his life. Jon is survived
by his brother Seward F. Hull III and his wife Joanne of Florida, his sister
Amy E. Hull of Natick, MA and his brother Peter W. Hull and his wife Erin,
of Clinton. He also leaves his nephews Spencer Hull, William Hull and
niece Grace Hull, also of Clinton. He was a graduate of the Morgan School
and attended college at Central Connecticut State College, where he
majored in Theatre Arts. Aside from enjoying working in theater,
he also loved the outdoors, camping, music festivals and was an avid
reader and military historian. He was very proud of his service in the
United States Navy, where he served for 7 years. He had battled many
health issues during the late years of his life, but through it all he always
remained independent, had a quick sense of humor and maintained
a core group of friends and family. He will be missed, but his stories will be
told for many years to come! There will be a graveside memorial service
at the Indian River Cemetery in Clinton on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at
12:00. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jon’s name to the
Shoreline Soup Kitchen & Pantries. They can be made on line at :
