Melissa Parsons

Melissa (Missy) Jean Parsons, 34, of East Haven, CT (formerly of Clinton, CT) passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in her childhood home. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, fiancé, friend and will be greatly missed by all. Her latest and favorite job was being a stay at home Mom and a beloved Aunt Cookie. She battled kidney disease most of her life but always wanted children. They were her dreams come true and she loved them fiercely. She adored Jackman, Maine and loved spending time there with her family.

She is survived by her two children, Janelle Rose Dingus and Christopher John Allen Jr. along with her beloved fiancé Christopher John Allen Sr. of Jackman, ME. Also by her parents David and Christine Parsons of Clinton, CT, her paternal Grandmother Lillian Parsons of Port St Lucie, FL, her brother Matthew Parsons along with his children Makenna and Blake of Clarks Summit, PA, her sister Michele Parsons along with her children Hunter, Kira and Rylee of Salem, CT and her Aunts and Uncles along with their families.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1 PM at the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).
