Sad to hear the news of Michael's untimely passing.  I knew Michael many years ago when I owned a small sandwich shop in Westbrook.  He was one of my favorite customers. Always on the go, always working, always hungry.  If he was in with  friends, there was always stories and laughter.  Pretty consistently,  Michael would pick up the tab for everyone.  
However,  there were days he would come in by himself, order something to eat then just sit quietly and read The New York Post.  On occasion,  this is when I could extend my own gratitude to him for his support of my small business by saying, "You're all set, Mike". He would wink and walk out the door.  Back to work.  
May his family find solace in all the good memories, achievements and support of friends.

Where to begin when commemorating a man who means so much to so many and always will... to Mike's family, especially.   While impossible to imagine the depth of your sorrow,  I am as sorry for your loss.  You had a gem among gems. He was probably the nicest man I've ever met and not just nice to me, nice to the community and all he met.  He was optimistic, creative, compassionate and inspiring.  May you find strength in the fact that is he was in your life and let him go on inspiring you.  If Mike was in  anyone's life, their life was a better life for it.  My sincere condolences to Mike's Father also. 
 I wish I could be there but im in Charlotte. To all he loved, friends, acquaintances, family, and strangers: Heads up, you were blessed and are blessed  forever more.  P.S. Im leaving a word for my BF Mary Maynard: "I love Mikey Fink! She always said.  Mary was a smart gal!   

Mike lives on in so many hearts and in so many lives. I already miss him dearly.  He was my friend.  Love and strength to you all as you traverse tomorrow.  Allow your pride and his high beam guide and  carry you as you celebrate Mike and all he loved.   Focus on the good fortune you've been a part of, it'll get you through day by day.  

My best to U all tomorrow.  Many have spent this past couple weeks shaking their heads in disbelief.

I never met Mike. He was a good friend of mine Jeff Cashman.  Jeff always thought highly of Mike to say the least. RIP 🙏 Mike!

Mike was a good person to me and was always smiling.  My prayers will include his whole family and my deepest sympathy.

Michael  we  first met you when i was 17 years old in 1981 and working my first Job at which was at the time A1 gas station in Clinton. The station was full service at the time . You pulled into the station with your street bike and at the time your hair was much much longer believe it was tied up in a tail. You and i spoke , you filled your bikes tank and while talking and getting to know you i asked you if your bike had enough power to pull the front end off the ground? .. You smiled with that bright smile and did not say a word and pulled out into the street and stopped the bike and raced it up and sure enough not only did you take off in a wheelie but you rode it all the way down the street for at least 200 ft heading toward the old package store Gold hammers .This was the beginning and almost every time he left you would give me some type of a crazy bike show Wheelies and or a break stand . As the years passed  our lives would cross then and again  and eventually we developed a great business relationship for many years servicing our companies needs with dumpster and trash removal  . Michael not only was an extremely hard worker he was one of those special friends  in your life where you might not see them for several years but when your paths would cross he would have a big smile and you would continue to talk and joke like you spoke just the day before  .  I truly enjoyed our  friendship Michael and you will be greatly missed.  My condolences to your complete family. R.I.P my friend.

This was out in Clinton, so many years ago, I took the picture from my boat. We were moored off Cedar Island for the weekend and Mike, Bonnie and Jeremy ( so young!) came out to visit. The young girl is the daughter of my girlfriend at the time. 
Those were the years we would all snowmobile in VT together and boat in the summer. Some of my fondest memories are all of us following Jeremy on the trails on his Articat Kitty Kat that we modified. Mike made both VT and boating possible for me and so much more, I will never forget him and always be grateful to have had him in my life💔

Playing hard was my favorite part. I miss him already, we had plans on his way south. Still cannot believe it. Mike touched so many people’s lives. My sincerest condolences to family, Jeremy, Bonny, John and the rest and so many friends. 🙏🏻💔

So many memories, I had forgotten this one. 🙏🏻

My very best to the family… I did not know Mike well, but every time I saw him he was a fun kind gentleman, the world lost a good one!

I will always remember Mike as a respected business owner. He definitely worked and played hard. My heart is broken for all of his his family. We raced street stocks and modifieds together.  Regardless of on track competition, Mike was an extreme gentleman off the track and always open to good conversation. I will stay in prayer for Bonnie and Jeremy in hopes that God will comfort the pain and hold you through these hard times.

Made a lot of Mudslides in my life and no one enjoyed them more than Mike and Bonnie , my heart goes out to Jermey and his mom .
