

Priscilla (Anderson) Flynn of Killingworth passed away on May 4, 2015 at Masonicare Hospice after a hard fought and brave battle with cancer. She was born in Wallingford on April 15, 1958. She was the daughter of the late William and Eileen (Howe) Anderson. She attended Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, and then acquired a BS in Biology and then an MBA from the University of New Haven. She served most recently as Director of Finance and Administration at the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Microbial Pathogenesis for the past 10 years. Prior to this she was in management at the CuraGen Corporation, a biotech company.
She leaves behind her loving, devoted husband and best friend, Brian M. Flynn. Friends often referred to them as “two peas in a pod”. They did everything together and especially loved the outdoors, kayaking, fishing, playing golf, running and biking. Priscilla proudly completed 3 marathons.
Priscilla also leaves behind a brother, William Anderson; a sister Eileen Anderson Vertucci, and her beloved nephew A.J. Vertucci; and a sister Christine Williams. She was predeceased by her brother Timothy, and her Aunt Kay. Also left to mourn her passing are Thomas and Silvia Flynn of Durham, Tyler and Kerri Flynn of Chicago, Spencer Flynn of Hawaii; Donald and Dawn Flynn of Glastonbury; Susan Flynn of Cromwell; Shaun and Jennifer Flynn of Plainville; Kyle and Tracey Flynn of Cromwell; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Brian and Priscilla would like to sincerely thank everyone for their tremendous support through this difficult time. A special thanks to Jorge, Maria and the W.E.G.L.
Calling hours will be 4-7PM at the Swan Funeral Home 80 E. Main St Clinton CT on Thursday May 7th. A short service at the funeral home will be held on Friday May 8th at 10:30am and will be immediately be followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Green Hill Rd, Killingworth.
