Ruth Norton

She was born on February 22, 1926, the daughter of Robert and Ida May (Adams) Altmannsberger.

She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth G. Norton, Sr., in 1994; brothers Robert, Jr., and David; sisters Peggy Stone, Beatrice Radawich, Fay and Lorie Scott and May Sypher.

Mrs. Norton is survived by her children Kenneth Norton, Jr., Judith Skinner and husband Thomas, John Norton and wife Kim, Jeffrey Norton and wife Tracey; grandchildren Erin Gregor and husband Jon, Levi, Ira, Kelsey, Jeffrey and Abbey Norton; great grandchildren Kate and Carter Gregor; siblings Richard and Ronald Altmannsberger and Edith Kuhn.

Mrs. Norton worked at Chesebrough-Ponds until her retirement. She enjoyed camping, family gatherings, making crafts, playing games and baking.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 20th at 11am in the Westbrook Congregational Church, 1166 Boston Post Rd., Westbrook. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405, or to the Westbrook Congregational Church.
