I worked as a teacher at Pierce Elementary and Alice was a wonderful secretary.  I will miss her.  I possess one of her finely hand-knitted blankets that I received at the funeral home.  Thank you…Alice took good care of me and I won’t forget it!

I also remember her as the school secretary.  She was a lovely woman - kind and thoughtful, and good at her job.  I'm sure you'll miss her, but I hope nice memories will bring you comfort.

Our family enjoyed getting to know Alice at St. Pio. We would see her at Swing Shift Orchestra concerts, as well. We remember the time she told us that she had her name longer than the singer. She was the original Alice Cooper. Alice will be missed. She always had a smile and a few friendly words after Mass. 

I had the pleasure of working with Alice at Pierce Elementary School through the years of 1988-1992.  I was the 6th grade teacher and the principal was Don Culich.  Alice went out of her way to help me at the start of my career and was always kind and caring and very professional.  My sympathies to the Cooper family.  Jim Brabant, Teacher, Ret. (I am sure she will be missed always).

I was saddened to hear of the  passing of Alice.  Alice was a dear friend of my sister Fran Davis, who along with myself are members of the Widowed Friends group.  Alice attended many concerts of the Swing/Big band which I am a member of.  She also enjoyed the concerts at Sterling Heights High School, where my son is the Band Director. (By the way, she was very complimentary of both). We missed her when she was unable to attend the most recent concerts, and  we will  always miss her. 

I have many fond,  work and retirement memories of
Alice……as secretary at Pierce in 
Roseville and then later, once we all retired.
Alice did all the arranging for our 
lunch dates and  made it possible 
to stay connected and have lots of laughs and good times.
 Alice was the glue that held 
us all together…she will be deeply missed.   Ken and Rob  my deepest

We are so happy that Alice was a part of our lives for the last few years.  She was always so happy!  I loved talking with her about her travels and the ladies groups she belonged to.  I know she really looked forward to her visits up north with her son, Ken.  They loved to make the rounds to all the summer and fall festivities.  I know how much she loved our dog and it was fun to bring her over for visits and walks.  We'll miss our Ms. Alice!
