Annetonette Barbara Radtke, better known as, Toni, (“Momma Toni”, by all her nieces and nephews), was born on May 5, 1959, and at the age of 62, she unexpectedly passed away on March 19, 2022 at her home.
Toni was a dedicated employee for the K-mart Corp., where she worked for 35 years. Her dedication to her work was not the only thing she was passionate about, she would do anything and everything she could to help anyone out before she would think of herself. She was a very generous individual who had a heart of gold.
Coming from such a large family, Toni made sure she never missed a holiday. Birthdays for her siblings were celebrated by her preparing and cooking a meal of their choice. She also never missed any of her nieces or nephews birthdays, because if Aunt Toni wasn’t present, it just wasn’t a party. Toni also loved playing cards. She enjoyed playing Poker or 500 Rummy, but her real love was euchre. Even extended family and friends called Toni to come join their card party, and Toni would always be there.
Although Toni never married, or had any children of her own, she was a mother to many children and she loved it. Whether it was her sibling’s children or her extended family’s children, or just friends of the family, everyone loved and called her Aunt Toni. Surrounded by all that unconditional love from her Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews, Toni embraced and relished every moment with them.
With Toni’s passing, she has left a very large hole in the family dynamic; a hole that can never be filled. However, knowing she is at peace and at Home with God, and many other loving family members, she will never be far away. She will be forever in our thoughts, prayers and hearts for eternity. Toni’s life and memory will live on forever.
Toni is survived by her siblings, Steven (Linda) Radtke, Arthur H. Radtke Jr., Laraine Radtke, Brenda (Radtke) Kargol, Laurence (Rose) Radtke. Nine Nieces and Nephews, Eighteen Great Nieces and Nephews, Three Great, Great Niece and Nephews and One Uncle, Anthony (Tony) Radtke. She is preceded in death, by her parents Arthur & Irene Radtke and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A visitation for Toni will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
