Arlene Frances Meerschaert

Arlene Meerschaert 81, passed away on Tuesday April 28, 2020, due to COVID -19 complications. She was born October 4, 1938 to Anthony and Alfreda Nowakowski in Detroit Michigan. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Alfred Nowakowski.

She is survived by her children Deborah (Phil) Kaczor, Denise Meerschaert, Michele (Bill) Wilson, Steven Meerschaert, Kimberly (Nick) Apostol and Donna (Jeff) Kitchen. Arlene was blessed with sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Arlene was a beautiful mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to her children. She was an avid reader, she loved word puzzles, bingo, and socializing with friends at her home at Pine Ridge Retirement Community.

The family will greet friends for a memorial visitation from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Private inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery.
