Dear Grandma,
   When my Mom would tell me that we were going to your house, I was extremely happy because I was going to see my best friend. I would walk through the front door and follow your oxygen cord to wherever you were at the time. I would smile and yell, “GRANDMA!” and just that would set me and you in a good mood for the rest of the day. I had so many great memories with you, sleeping over and watching Netflix movies, and getting to make those Disney puzzles while watching Jeopardy. You loved LEGOS, and it was super fun looking at the LEGO magazine with you while we ate Boy Scout popcorn and drank Vernors. You would listen to me, you inspired me to do many things that I wouldn't have been able to do without your motivation. You were always there for me, my guardian angel; no one I know has someone that amazing in their life. You made me feel special, after anything I did you told me how amazing I was and how I'm going to do something with my future. Grandma, I was lucky to have a person like you in my life, a person who's caring, kind, sweet, nice, and loving. We shared a very close bond, you loved me more than I could ever imagine. The feeling has always been mutual. I love you Grandma, and I'm going to miss you dearly. You were the most special person I ever had in my life. You were my second mom, and it's hard to say goodbye. Tell Grandpa I love him too:)

My Grandma Peachie was always there for me, my brothers and all of her family. It is hard to belive she is not here, but she is here in our hearts.  I just love her so much.  I love you Grandma Peach; you were like a mom to me.  I am glad she is with Grandpa Hugo and is no longer in pain.  Goodbye my darling grandma, you will be greatly missed by me.  I love you Grandma Peach.

I will miss my gramma very much. She made me happy each and every time I saw her and I know my brothers and I brightened up her day each time we saw her. She had an infectious energy to her. If she was in a good mood, I was in a good mood and if she was sad, I did everything in my power to cheer her up. She loved her family more than anything else in the whole wide world. She made each and every person she ever spoke to feel special. She loved the tigers. However, she hated prince fielders beard.  And when I say hated, I mean HATED.  Each time he came up to bat you would hear “Oh, if he would just cut off that beard he would be the most handsome man.  He has such a good smile”.  Her favorite player was Justin verlander (or as she pronounced it ver-LANDer). Which brings me to my next point. One of my fondest memories I have of my gramma is how she mispronounced words that nobody else in the world ever mispronounced.   It wasn't Lake Huron or port Huron. It was lake urine and port urine.  It wasn't Venezuela, it was Venzooela.  It wasn't Magglio Ordonez, it was Magglio Ordones. She loved flowers and tended to them with the most love and care a person has ever put into a plant. She just loved how pretty they were and they made her happy. She loved Christmas and all the other holidays. I loved receiving Valentines Day, Easter cards and Halloween cards in the mail from her. I also loved the envelope it came in that was covered in stickers. Even though she was relentless and annoying about how things needed to be cleaned at her house, I truly will miss cleaning it and spending quality time with her while doing it. We could just spend hours chatting and never get bored with each other. She was one of those kind of friends to me. One that I will cherish forever. I think the reason my gramma meant so much to me is because of how much I meant to her. She was proud to call me her grandson and I was proud to call her my gramma. She was my best buddy. And I will miss and love her forever. I'm so glad you're finally pain free and that you'll never feel those darn shingles ever again. Thank you for being a great listener, grandma and friend.

Arlene and Hugo Spinozzi, Special Parents, Special Neighbors, Special Friends, Special People, Special Together Forever.  Jan, Craig, Mark, and Lisa, God has blessed all of you, your families, and all your parents' loved ones with many Special Memories.  May He also bless you with peace, comfort, and hope during this difficult time in your life.

Now that I can put words to my sentiments, I wanted to share what my Grammy Pie meant to me.  As an adult, we were best friends, and I loved to share my highs and lows and hear her insight.  I loved being so interested in each other.  I learned to trust my intuition, because hers was always so reliable.  I watched her with my child, and learned to parent with patience and positivity.  Throughout my life I watched her value tradition, family, and a sense of community.  She was caring, warm, generous, and thoughtful.  She was the nexus of our family, and provided a figurative and literal home for us all to return to no matter where we branched off to.  I always remember feeling peaceful and happy in her home.  I will go forward slightly broken by her and Hugo's absence, but I will walk tall and carry what they gave me, and in this way I hope for their memory to continue to resonate through the characters of the generations they left behind.

Mom, you shoul be so proud of your children, they are loving, caring, thoughtful just like you. You made such an impression on them all. I am thankful for what you taught Lisa! I am very fortunate to call her my sister. It was always great to talk with you, always being so kind. Now you and dad can rest easy together, he can serenade you forever. Sue and I will help your kids anyway we can. We will think of you always. Love you! Bob and Sue

To lose two wonderful people so close together seems unthinkable.  Lisa and I cannot begin to understand what everyone is going through, but know that we are thinking of you.  Peach and Hugo were always such a joy to be around.  Peach was always laughing and smiling in the presence of her family, and you could tell she was overjoyed and proud of you all.  Peach and Hugo's life together, and the family they created, are a true testament to their love and spirit.  Whenever we saw Peach and Hugo, they were happy together.  There is some peace knowing that continues now, in a better place.  We love you all and hope you can find comfort amongst all of the friends and family that Peach and Hugo helped bring together.

Aunt Peachie was a beautiful person inside and out. She always had a sparkle in her eyes and made you feel comfortable and at ease whenever you were around her. She worked hard at raising her family; a family with good morals, good sense of humors and good looks and that's a great accomplishment. She was my grandfather's little sister and he adore her and was very protective of her. I am sure he will now be protecting her in heaven. My thoughts and prays are with her family at this extremely hard time. Remember all of the great times and hopefully you can be at peace knowing that she is with her Soul Mate again.

Well another death in our immediate family. Aunt Peachie past away on Tuesday. She was a sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and most of all a loving devoted wife. She was married to Hugo for 64 years. Yes 64 years and Hugo passed 3 weeks ago. She was so frail and heartbroken. She obviously could not go on without him. She will be missed by all. She was a warm and friendly woman. She always asked how our family was, asking about each of our children by name and also my grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family but welcomed with open arms by her husband Hugo in heaven.

We know how hard this is for all of you and hope that knowing our thoughts and prayers are with you will help you through this difficult time.  We have so many fond memories of spending time with Peach and Hugo and you always felt welcome and could tell how much they loved their family.  Peach was so proud of all of you and loved you all unconditionally.  Peach is no longer in pain and is now at Hugo's side.  Peach will be missed oh so much. May all your happy memories and all of the wonderful things both Hugo and Peach taught you about the importance of family, love, etc. help you to know they are always with you.

At a time in my life when I needed it most I had the opportunity to forge a friendship that meant everything to me, and it is rendering me speechless in the wake of it's conclusion, as my best friend and gramma has passed. Gramma Peachie, you will be sorely missed by so many, and I love you more than words can describe.  I love you too much for words, and they fail me in the wake of your passing.

Gram, you're awesome and I will miss you bunches.  I'll make sure your house will always be dust-free, and if I ever have flowers I'll make sure to tend to them just as dilligently as you always did.  Tell Grampy I said hi.  Love you!

Dearest Mom and Dad, now you can rest.  Your pain is gone, you're together again and you're at peace.  But, even though you're gone physically, you'll always be with all of your kids in our hearts, our minds and how we live our lives.  You were the perfect role models for trying to live a good life and always trying to do the right thing.  Through your actions you taught us love, devotion and faith.  You also taught us kindness, compassion, generosity, honesty and forgiveness.  You instilled both a work ethic and a play ethic and you made all of us feel important, accepted and loved.  You were the best!
We love you and we already miss you, but we'll be able to move on knowing you'll always be with us.  Enjoy being together forever and go ahead and rest.  You've earned it.  All our love, always, Mark and Nancy.

With sad hearts, we send our sincerest sympathy to Jan, Craig, Mark and Lisa.  She was a great neighbor and my special friend.Wish we could be there with you at this sad time but be assured of our thoughts and prayers.

She will be greatly missed!  We hope there is some comfort in knowing she is together with Hugo once more.  May she always be remembered as the sweet, loving soul we knew her to be.

Lisa,  We're so sorry for the loss of your Mom.   I know how close you were to your parents and in time those memories will comfort you.  God bless you and your family at this very difficult time.
