Arnold “Arnie” Gordon Comer, age 66 passed away November 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Kuntz) and dog Rylee; dear father of Traci (Hitch) Scarsella and Steve (Samantha) Comer; loving grandfather of Jocelyn, Alex and Magnolia. Arnie is survived by his brother Floyd (Deborah), nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Eric (Dana) Miller. Arnold was born November 26, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Floyd and Evelyn (nee Burns) Comer who have predeceased him. Arnie earned his Master Degree in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University. He was employed at Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) for 35 years and worked in public education for 40 years. He was lovingly called “Mr. Distance Learning Ville”. Arnie married his wife Diane on August 9, 1997 at St. Mark Lutheran in Roseville. He was a Dedicated Tigers fan and a season ticket holder for twenty years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grosse Pointe Farms. Visitation Monday, November 26, 2018 2pm to 9pm.
