Uncle Barry was one of the best.

Love always Uncle Barry!

I had a hard time tonight saying anything and wished I would have been able to.  I've been writing things down and this is what I will always remember about my Uncle Barry.  I'm sorry that I couldn't say these things in front of you Uncle Barry.  I loved you so much.

My uncle Barry played Santa one year.

He was great at radio games.  He won all kinds of stuff.

My friends knew him as my uncle who saw every cool band in concert.  He had a huge stack of concert tickets he let us go through.  He saw every band anyone every wanted to see.

He had change in his pocket and he would let the kids try and guess how much it was.  If you got it right you got all the change.

He was a servant of the people and of God.  

We stopped to help any woman in distress.  We got gas numerous times for ladies driving flashy cars whom always seemed to run out of gas on his watch.

He would pray when we heard emergency sirens.  I will still do this today because of him.  It may not be uttered Out loud the way he would.

Lottery was huge for him.  I don't know how much he played but he used to watch the numerous religiously.  Maggie Usaidly was one of his favorite parts of the lottery.

My best weekends as a teenager was going to hang out with uncle Barry and uncle Ronnie and watch pay per view boxing and wrestling

He was the last to get a plate of food.  Usually due to working late.  He was also the slowest eater.  And he loved good food.  Spaghetti especially 

He loved soda.  He went through lots of favorites.  He would really only drink one kind of soda.  I used to remember Pepsi alot.  The last I believe he was into was Cherry coke.

He was always good with a hand shake

He always was so excited for anything that you did.

I've know Barry and the whole Walden family since I was a child.  Barry was a kind and gentle man. He had a great sense of humor, and he had many great stories especially about music.  
To the Wallen family, my condolences to you during this time.

Anyone who asks why I fought so hard from this man need only to look at this photo,the joy in this man's face is infectious, how could I not fight, in the end he couldn't fight anymore and went on to his great reward, hope he touched your heart with the joy and comfort he brought mine, he will be missed....more stories later
