Cecile Barbeau

Cecile Barbeau passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the age of 90. She was the loving wife of Victor Barbeau and the late Roland Chamberland. She was the beloved mother of Cheryl (Dave) Barth and stepmother of Joanne (Rick) Caselli, Lucie (Tom) Barber, Michele Ritter, and Sandra (Steve) Depuys. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Catherine (Paul) Wheatley, Charlotte (Will) Burmeister, Brittany Caselli, Nicole (Jeremy) Hong, Chris Caselli, Sarah (Andrew) Marsoupian, Kyle (Jessica) Ritter, Dean (Maria) Ritter, Alaina Depuys, Courtney Depuys and Luke Depuys and great grandchildren Clara Burmeister, Millie Burmeister, Roland Burmeister, Roman Marsoupian, Aria Marsoupian, Nolan Ritter, Riley Ritter and Sydney Hong. She is also survived by her siblings Fernande Paradis, Margot Turcotte, Monique Bowers, Denise Demers-Roy (Yves), Raynald (Celine) Demers and Fernand (Rejeanne) Demers and many many nieces and nephews.

Cecile had a love for gardening and a passion for music and singing. She enjoyed entertaining her family with stories of her childhood growing up in Quebec and cherished the time she spent with them. Her beautiful heart and shining smile will be truly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Cecile will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Funeral Mass will occur Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Friends may visit the church on Friday beginning at 10:30 am.
