Mrs. Cecilia M. Doherty (Nee Young) age 89, died on January 3, 2011. Beloved wife of Richard for 59 years. Loving mother of Richard D. (Terri) and Kristine (Roger) Owens. Cherished grandmother of Keri (Gary) Marshall and Kyle Owens. Dear sister of Lorraine Young. Predeceased by her brother Walter and Sisters Rose Neiman and Dorothy Vinscavich. Cecilia loved to play cards with her husband, children, and grand children. She also enjoyed reading and sewing projects. Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. with a scripture service at 7 P.M. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038. In state Tuesday at 11 A.M. until the time of service, 11:30 A.M. at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
