Charlene R. Newman, age 71, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. Beloved wife of Philip Newman; cherished mother of Christine (Matt) Hatfield, Dawn (Duke) Clements, and Laurie (John) Teachout; loving grandmother of Jordan, Lydia, Matthew Adrian, Samuel, Jake, Andrew, Matthew Philip, Elijah, Abigail, Daniel, Micah, Lillian, Naomi, Gabriel, Johnny, and Ally; and dear sister of George Thornton, Jeanie Okray, Margaret (David) Cole, and Robert Ladd. A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
