Charles William Henretta

Charles William Henretta, age 71, passed away on March 26, 2016. Chuck was the loving husband of Charlene for over 53 years. He leaves behind his children; Cheryl (James) Nielsen and Craig (Barbara) Henretta, grandchildren; Kristina (Sean) Koerber, Eric (Alyssa) Nielsen, Jaycee Henretta, Masen Henretta and Jorden Henretta and siblings; Thomas (the late Sandy), Barry (Karen), Marc, Brandy Turner and Michelle (Mick) Sullivan. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Henretta and Matilda Piornack and his sister Karen Hayes.

Chuck enjoyed golfing and was proud of his hole in one shot. He was an athlete and liked many kinds of sports. He enjoyed traveling with Charlene. More than anything, Chuck loved to take care of his wife, kids and grandchildren. Chuck had an endearing sense of humor and he loved to make people laugh. He is going to be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will take place at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Wed. March 30 from 3-8 pm. The funeral service will be on Thurs. March 31 at 11 am with an instate time from 10-11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 375 Lothrop Rd. Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
