Clyde proudly served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines. He worked many years before retiring from the Transportation Equipment Group a division of Borg-Warner. Clyde was always active; going for walks and golfing. He was known to do daily crossword puzzles and go for Sunday buggy rides. Clyde enjoyed creating beautiful stained glass pieces.
Clyde is survived by his children, Deborah (Dennis) Meteer, Bruce (Cathy) Pruden; grandchildren, Dylan Pruden, Rob (Heather) Meteer, Keri (Bryan) McKeough, John (Lisa) Hersey, Abigail (Jeremiah) Farren; great-grandchildren, Lauren & Logan Meteer, Isla & Harper McKeough, Ryan & Alex Hersey, Donavan Pruden, Mason & Parker Farren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Irene.
Visitation for Clyde will be Thursday, March 17th, from 3-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Friday, March 18th at 10am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
