David Wayne Caruso

Beloved husband of Ann for 44 years; adored father of David (Jennifer) Caruso and Matt Caruso; proud papa of Sofia, Giuliana, Evelyn, and Emma; dear brother of Linda Caruso, the late Jerry Piasecki, and the late Steven Caruso. David is also survived by his in-laws: Sam (Peggy) Buffa, Grace Buffa, Russ (Kim) Buffa, Petrina (Mario) Apruzzese, and John (Erin) Buffa; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, Uncle Richard (Lottie), and Aunt Linda Joy. He was preceded in death by his father Richard (Mary Jane) Piasecki and mother Charlotte (Carl) Caruso.

David proudly served his country with the US Army and worked as a millwright at Ford for many years.

The family will greet friends from 3:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. In compliance with the local and state mandates, please wear a mask and continue social distancing during the visitation and service. Inurnment with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
