Beloved husband of Patricia for 47 years. Devoted father of Dennis Jr. (Kristy); Loving grandfather of Alex, Grace, and Andrew; Brother of John (Robin).
Also survived by brother and sister-in-laws: Mary Ann (Robert) Hanley, Arnold (Patricia) Semrau, Diana (Jeffrie) Tomsha, Laura (David) Marcelewski, Daniel Semrau, and Gerald (Krista) Semrau and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Mary Catherine Berchulc and sister Catherine; Father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Martha Semrau; Niece Kelly (Hanley) Bauroth.
Dennis was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He loved spending time with Pat at their property in Buckley, Michigan. Dennis also loved his time with his grandchildren, seeing them play soccer, hockey, and dance. He always looked forward to Halloween with them – dressing in costume and handing out candy at their house. Dennis’s hobbies: being in his garage woodturning, making beautiful bowls, pens, and other projects (A member of the Bluewater Wood Turners Club); Riding the trails on his Buckley property in his UTV; Attending rock concerts;
At this time, due to Covid 19 virus, only a private visitation and service will be held; Arranged by Kaul Funeral Home, Clinton Township, Michigan
A Memorial Mass and celebration of Dennis's life will be held at a later date.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville, Michigan
