

Donald James Belcher (Don Kool) of Macomb Twp. MI. Born Ground Hog Day February 2, 1952 Passed on to the hands of our Lord suddenly and unexpectedly on June 27, 2012. The third and largest child born to the late Frank Sr. and Marian Sr. (Skriver) Belcher. Predeceased by siblings Frank Jr. and Marian Jr. (Fu-fu). Survived by his dog daughter and faithful companion Addie and Brothers Tommy (Cindy), Fred, David, Peter, and John, Sisters Barbara (Ken) Schultz and Rosemarie Leahey. Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Cousin and good friend to many and a member of union 245. Retired from TDM in Warren, where he worked for many years. Still keeping in contact with many of his coworkers whom he considered brothers and family. A big fan of all sports, old movies, and a trivia buff. Enjoyed classic, country, and oldies music especially mo-town. He grew up with rockers Iggy Pop of the Stooges, Alice Cooper and worked on the stage lights for Prince’s Purple Rain Tour. Enjoyed going to concerts, his computer, flat screen TV, dinner shows, Gibraltar trade center, and hated grocery shopping. Weekly visitor to McDonalds, Burger King, Jets, Little Caesars, New Moon and Subway. Always lending a hand and drinking coffee with his sister Barbara daily. He will be truly missed by many. It has been our pleasure to have him in our lives. Visitation Thurs. 2-9p.m. with a funeral service at 7p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd. (S. of 18 Mi. Rd.) Clinton Township.
