Donald Ronald Casper

Donald Ronald Casper, age 71, of Algonac, Michigan passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. He was born August 13, 1953 in New Haven, Michigan.

Don grew up in Fair Haven, Michigan. After graduating from Algonac High School, Don was employed at SANGB and TACOM until he retired.

Throughout his life, Don enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, playing on hockey, pool, and bowling leagues, and enjoyed snowmobiling. Don also played softball on The Raft Team for many years. Don followed the Detroit sports teams and Michigan football. His favorite beverage was Budweiser. Don was the greatest walleye fisherman and possessed a unique golf swing. Don loved to eat perch.

Don was dearly loved by his family and friends. His laughter was contagious. He had a great sense of humor. Don honored his mother and took great care and consideration of her wellbeing and happiness. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie (Job) Casper, father, Bernard George Casper and Gram Frances Peterson.

Don is survived by his daughter Lynn and son Jeff; brothers, Will, Chuck (Shelley), and Dennis (Donna); granddaughters Stefanie and Avery and grandson Evan; nieces and nephews Mike, Jennifer (Mike), Kimberly (Kenny), Robert (Buffy), Julie (Dan), Eric (Jenna), Kaitlyn (Alex), David (Asante), and Tim; 15 great nieces and nephews; and step-family, Julie, Baird, Neil (Alissa), Axel, Alex, Livvy (Krystian) Luca, Palmer, Jackson, Emma and Dalton and dearly loved by Cindy.
