Donald P. Pingel, age 87, passed away October 31, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Martha Konen Pingel; loving father of Wayne Pingel, Sue (Kevin) Klein, and Laura (Tim Deboy) Pingel and step-father of James (Mary) Konen, Maggie (Bob) Sonntag, Shirley (Dennis) Knoblock, Paul (Candice) Konen, Bobby (Janice) Konen, Billy (Shelly) Konen, and Loretta VanZutphen; devoted grandfather of Laura, Matthew, Allison, and David as well as 12 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren; and dear brother of Mary Lou Lauwers and the late Virginia Klinkhammer. In-State Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseville.
