Doc’s greatest love was for his wife of 67 years, Trudi. Together as they traveled the world from the North Pole to Antarctica, his appreciation for the cultures and wildlife of other countries grew. He was an active member of St. Athanasius, both church and President of the school board.
Doc built a successful Oral Surgery practice for 40 years and held many leadership positions, including President of the Michigan Dental Association, Chairman of the Oral Surgery Department at University of Detroit, President of the Macomb Dental Society, Board of Directors at BCBS and DenteMax for 26 years.
His finest achievement was raising his five children with Trudi. He sponsored hockey teams, dance recitals, swim clubs, school plays and so much more. He continued to love and support all his grandchildren and great grandchildren in the same manner. He will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.
