Donaldus M. DeVolder

Donaldus DeVolder passed away suddenly on January 21, 2015. He leaves behind his loving children; Brian (Trisha), Donald (Natalie) and Dawn (Agnes), grandchildren; Zachary, Brandon, Joshua and Samantha, as well as his sisters Linda (Paul) Schmidt and Viviane (Randy) Opsasnick. He also leaves behind his dogs whom he adored, Sandra and Chloe. Don was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Noella DeVolder and his wife Toni DeVolder.

Don was known for having a huge heart. He loved to laugh and tell jokes. He enjoyed socializing with his friends daily, watching Detroit sports (Lions, Tigers and Redwings mainly), bowling, traveling (especially to Vegas), going to the casino and driving fast. Don appreciated having nice things and was always there for his family and friends. He absolutely loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Besides loving his dogs, he also loved birds (mainly parrots). Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will miss him greatly.

The visitation will take place at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Sunday, January 25 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, January 26 at 10:30am. Interment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
