Donna was born in Detroit on September 21, 1935 to George and Viola Doan. She was a proud graduate of Saint Elizabeth in Detroit and began her career at Michigan Bell Telephone Company before dedicating many years to raising her six children, a role she embraced with love, strength, and devotion. Later in life, Donna fulfilled a longtime dream of returning to the workforce when she began working at the 41B District Court in Clinton Township, a position she took great pride in.
Donna and her husband Dennis shared a life filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness. They loved opening their home to family and friends for any and all occasions, creating countless cherished memories. Some of their happiest times were spent at their cottage in Lexington, traveling as members of the Nomads, and enjoying trips filled with fun and celebration, including many memorable adventures in Las Vegas.
Donna will be remembered for her warm heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, and a life well lived.
Donna is survived by daughters: Denise Jenkins (the late Jack), Darlene Molosky (Joe), and Dana Hodell; sons: Dale (Lynn), Doug (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Betty; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, and son, David.
Memorial mass will take place at 11:00am on Monday, January 19, 2026 at St Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Memorial in state from 10:00am until time of mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Vincent de Paul Society
