Cherished Aunt to; John, Chris, & Greg Hallman, Diane (Tom) Sima, Cindy (Wayne) Cash, Jim (Kathy) Riley, Kevin Riley, & Connie (David) Balfour. Fourteen great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews. As well as many extended family members and their children.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Angelina (Baranski) Hallman; a sister, Rita Hallman; a brother, John Hallman; a brother, George Hallman; and a sister, Dolores (Gordon) Riley.
She will always be remembered as being "Aunt Dorothy" to all who met her. She loved the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with friends and visited several countries in her retirement. She was an immediate friend to all. She spent her later years playing cards, bingo, needlepoint, visiting with her many friends and every once in a while, a sip of Uzo or a nice cold Coors beer. Dorothy will be missed very much.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. An instate will occur Monday, April 8, 2024 from 9:00 am until a Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Detroit, Michigan.
