Erna Hofer, age 90, passed away July 24, 2022 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She was born March 15, 1932 to the late Karl & Christine (Muller) Martin.

Erna worked for the Sears in Macomb Mall and retired after 22 years. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church and the Carpathia Club. She will be greatly missed.

Erna is survived by her daughter, Angela (James) Denier; granddaughters, Lauren (Robert) Penrod, Isabella Denier; great-grandson, Rhys Penrod; her siblings, Adolf Martin, Isle Zitzelsberger; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 49 years, Werner; and siblings, Fritz Martin, and Erika Erhardt.

Visitation for Erna will be Thursday, July 28th from 3-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, July 29th at 11am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Erna's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
