Fern Lois Meissner

Fern L. Meissner, age 95, went to live with Jesus in Heaven on May 24, 2022. Beloved wife of Roy William Meissner, for 75 years come August 23rd. Loving mother of the late Caryn (Nick) Kozel, Roy Meissner Jr., Marilyn (Van) Frazee, and Caryl (Bill) Davidson. Proud grandmother of Julie (Steve), Debbie (Dave), Nick (Deanna), Sharon (Patterson), Alex (Juliane), Greg (Adrienne), Stephanie (Braden), Rachel (William), Rivan (Jessica), Lisa (Mike), Michelle (Asher), Michael, Tim (Cari), Jennifer (Matt), Sarah (Tommy), Alex, Zach and Eric. Joyful great grandmother of 41 and great-great grandmother of five. Visitation will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 from Noon until time of funeral service at 1:30pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp.

Interment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East. Fern was a school teacher at Violet Elementary in Lakeshore School District. She enjoyed working with children, working in her garden, and going on many adventures with her loving husband. She camped, hiked, skied, golfed, bowled, enjoyed Stratford, knit, crocheted, played bridge, and was an avid, competitive Scrabble player.
