Gary worked for many years as a butcher at Chathams Supermarket. He also worked in custodial maintenance at St Francis Home for Boys in Detroit and St Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. Gary was friendly, caring and generous. He enjoyed watching tv, and often joked he was a professional channel surfer. Gary loved spending time at his family property up north in Port Austin. Gary will be deeply missed.
Gary is survived by his son, Nick Watson; his in laws, Judy (Dennis) Landin, Joe Woodley, Connie (Tom) Szudarek; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron & Estelle Watson; his wife, Lorraine Watson; his sister Janice Kenworthy; and several in laws.
A visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 10:00 am until a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, located at 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
