George Peter Kanan

He was born on August 4, 1932 in Detroit Michigan to Peter Kanan and Amilea Matta. In 1957 he married Marilyn J. Pousho and together they raised their 4 children. George served in the Korean war for 2 years in the Army division. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Michael.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, Son, Timothy (Nancy) Kanan, daughters, Susan (Michael) Bishoping, Peggy (Ward) Miller, Grandchildren, Jeff, Cole, Daniel (Meghan), Kelly, Emily, Hunter, Brothers, Oscar, Peter, Joseph, Sisters, Mary, and Ann.

Funeral services will be privately held. Memorial will be held at a later date.
