Gordon L. Evans

Gordon L. Evans, age 71, died July 19, 2016. Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Tavernier). Loving father of Shannon (Gerrit) Ketelhut, Doreen (Ted) Baughn, Stephanie Campbell, and Nicholas (Christine). Dearest grandfather of Erica, Kayla, Jason, Stella, Liam, and Owen. Dear brother of Pam Butkovich. Nephew of Emma Jo Choate. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by brothers Clifford "Kip" and Wayne Evans. Gordon proudly served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman. He was a Physician's Assistant at Plymouth General; an Assistant Administrator for Brent General; and a Human Resource Manager for CMI Southfield. He also was a talented freelance writer. Above all, his Church family was very important to him. Visitation Friday 3-9 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township. Funeral Saturday 11 am (Instate at 10 am) at Trinity United Methodist Church, 18303 Common Rd, Roseville. Entombment with Military Honors at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions to the church would be appreciated.
