Harold Crowley Mangum

Harold Crowley Mangum, age 83, of Clinton Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Beloved husband of Pat (nee Barone), and the late Fay (nee Davis); adored father of Lynne Thompson, the late Karen Mangum, Lori (Joe) Hulvey, Patti (Scott) Kraiza; dear step-father of Scott (Kim) Lesher, Debbie (Bryan) Lesher-DeFauw, and Dan (Jennifer) Lesher; proud grandfather of Matthew Thompson, Bryan Thompson, Brendan Kraiza, Ashley Kraiza, Riley Kraiza, Carson Kraiza, Trevor Hulvey and step-grandfather of Brandon Lesher, Brooke Lesher, Justin Forton, Tyler Forton, Hunter Lubanski, Kyle Lesher, Evan Lesher, Erica Lesher, Kaitlyn Lesher, Brandon Morrison, Aaron Morrison, and Lauren Morrison; great-grandfather of seven. Harold is also survived by his sister-in-law, Louise Mangum, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Francis (nee Burns) Mangum; and his brothers, Eugene (the late Wanda) Mangum and Ralph Mangum.

Harold was born October 4, 1934 in Detroit. He proudly served his country with the Air Force from 1954-1957, managed B&B Auto Parts for over 40 years, and married Pat on July 29, 1995.

The family will greet friends from 1:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the above location. In state from 9:30am until time of service at 10:00am. Interment with military honors following at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Harold’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
