Helene M. Lombardo was born on July 7, 1927 in Schenectady, New York and entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2019. She was the wife of the late Sam Lombardo and loving mother of Lynn (Howard) and Lori (Dan). She was the beloved grandmother of Rebekah, Donald, Lisa, Kristine and Laura, and great-grandmother of Colton.
Helene’s first passion in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Helene’s second passion in life was her teaching career. She taught for 20 years at Anchor Bay Middle School. Helene then retired and spent time with her grandchildren and husband for a decade, and returned to substitute teaching for the following decade.
A memorial visitation will held on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A memorial service will held at 6:00 pm. All services will be at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038
