Henry M. Boguslawski, of New Baltimore, passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 64. Henry was born on October 14, 1955 to Henry and Helen Boguslawski and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Henry married the love of his life, Beth, and celebrated a wonderful 36 years together. They lived in Warren for 30 years before moving to the New Baltimore area.
He worked for Comerica Bank for 41 years and retired as the Vice President of the Controller Department. Throughout the years, Henry was an active coach for his children’s sports teams including basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. His love for sports shone brightly as a proud Michigan and Detroit Lions fan. One of Henry’s most beloved sports moments was when he bowled a 300 in 2005. His love of competition didn’t end with sports, he also enjoyed playing cards with friends. He was quite the competitor when it came to pinochle, euchre, and poker. Henry also had a love for traveling with his wife, family and friends, especially to the Caribbean. Along with the love he had for his family he also shared that same love for the dogs that were a big part of his life.
Henry will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and how he always put others before himself. His compassion and caring for others will live on through his family and friends. He will be truly missed by everyone he knew.
Henry is survived by his wife Beth Boguslawski and children Jessica (Shawn) Crawford and Edward Boguslawski. His grandchildren Michael and Emmett Crawford. His brother Gary Boguslawski, and his brother and sister-in-law Nick and Mary Goerke. His nephew Nicholas Goerke and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township, Michigan. Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM.
