Mike I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I had the privilege of talking to him a few times and he was a true gentleman. By the way you always spoke of him I know he was a wonderful person and father.

With apologies for the belatedness of this sentiment, I wish to say that "Uncle" Hank Hojna was a man upright in character, kindly and generous in demeanor, and a man whom it was a privilege to know. 

I also know that I speak for all the Wright family when I say that memories of Hank and Carol's family visits to the vacation farm will always be treasured; and stand out particularly among the happy memories of our young lives. I am sure also that all of those who were affiliated with the Pittel family, are equally grateful that Hank (and Carol of course) were so much a voluntary part, of that extended clan.

I am so sorry to hear about everyone's loss of Uncle Hank. He was probably the best man I have ever met & was so lucky to have had him as my Godfather. He was the most loving kind person God had put on this earth. He will sure be missed by everyone who knew him. We all know he is in a better place now with those who have gone before us. Now we must all go on with our lives until we meet again. Rest In Peace you dear dear man & know how much you were treasured by everyone. My love Nancy xo

Hank was blessed with 95 years on earth and now his new journey begins

Uncle Hank, By now you have joined your parents, your sister Josie, and your brothers in the House of God. It's time to embrace one another, pour a shot and a beer, and enjoy a Toast to your grand reunion. The HOJNA family leaves behind a great legacy which you helped create. We are your accomplishments. We are thankful for the unions your family entered. You gave us life. Lives that Mary and Karl had no idea would span to such lengths. I will remember your kind voice and perpetual smile. Uncle Hank has been & will continue to be the bench mark of what a man should be.  Hank had an aura that made everyone that he came in contact with feel welcome & loved. He will be missed by all. God bless.

Uncle Hank was a role model for me. His heart was huge and I always thought of him one of the kindest people I had ever known. He will always be my favorite Marine.

My Uncle Hank was one of the kindest, most loving men I have ever known. I will be perpetually grateful for his service to our country and his love for his family.

Hank was a great brother-in-law & husband. He always saw the good in people, & never uttered a bad word. Hank had a great voice & was a wonderful singer. His favorite was "Danny Boy" & did a fine job with it.

Dear Caroline,Michael, Tim, and Kathy,
words can not express the sorrow the you are feeling now, Just remember the wonderful husband and father that he was and all of the great times you had together. Time does heal.

Hank was the kindest, most grateful and thankful man I've ever met.  He enjoyed life to the fullest and was thankful for everything he was blessed with in life.
I cannot think of a more beautiful time of the year to be welcomed by the angels and experience the beauty of Christmas in heaven.  I hope he knows how much he was love and respected my so many!  We will miss you Hank, Rest In Peace.
