

Jacqueline Rose Jolly-Wagoner, of Fort Gratiot, MI., passed away February 13, 2018 at 79 years of age. Beloved wife of 25 years to William Wagoner; adored mother of Lisa (Neil) Sylvester and Craig (Tharesa) Kwiatek; proud grandmother of Kristen (Ryan) Lauhoff and Alyssa Kwiatek, and great-grandmother of Liliana Grace, Ella Rose, and Clint Waylon; sister of Michael (Joy) Jolly and James J. Jolly; Step-mother of Kyle (Sandy) Wagoner, Kerry Wagoner, Sandy (John) Horan, Maryann (Jon) Hoos, and Angela (Mitchell) Chvatal; and 7 additional grandchildren: Matthew and Julie Horan; Morgan, Andrea and Grant Hoos; and Cassidy and Chancellor Chvatal; also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Jacqueline was born May 16, 1938 to the late Franklin and Lucille Jolly. She was a devoted servant of the Lord, wife and mother who deeply loved all her family. She had a strong passion for all humanitarian efforts including, but not limited to, serving others around the world to her local community, always striving to end world hunger and poverty while caring for the earth; committed to ensuring that others would receive clean drinking water, food, and personal care items, she was involved with Heifer International, Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Smile, and Meals on Wheels; in addition, she spent countless hours as a Hospice volunteer in Michigan, Tennessee and North Carolina. Jacqueline enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill, the love of her life, and being outdoors in nature, taking walks, horseback riding, canoeing, or enjoying the simple pleasures of the sunshine or a picnic. Spending quality time with her family was indeed the joy of her life. Her love and legacy will live on with her family, friends, and deep accomplishment in the foundation of the Clinton Twp. Senior Center.
Jacqueline was also very passionate about Holistic Healing, Natural Remedies, and Massage Therapy. She was an enthusiastic educator of these, as well as, of the messages of God’s Word. During her career, one of her greatest accomplishments was the difference she made for others through her leadership and visionary developments at the Senior Adult Life Center situated in Clinton Township, including bringing the “National Senior Softball Tournament” to them, and, initiating the “Ms. Senior Michigan Pageant” to dispel the myths of aging. Already equipped with a Master’s Degree, she also later further diversified her educational resume by attending classes at Lee University, adding a pilot class and Mandarin Chinese!
The family will celebrate Jacqueline’s life at Noon on Saturday, February 24th with a Coronation Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
