Jean Frances Phillips, age 88, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Jean was born on July 6, 1937 in Grayling, Michigan to the late Clifford and Marie Malloy. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley.
Jean was married to her late husband George for 39 wonderful years, and together they built a life filled with warmth, joy, and deep family bonds. Jean was especially proud of her family and never missed an opportunity to share their accomplishments or celebrate their milestones.
She loved being social and cherished time spent with friends and neighbors and was involved in the community she called home.
Faith played a central role in her life. She was an active member of Joy Community Church, where she found purpose, fellowship, and countless opportunities to lead and serve.
Jean leaves behind her son, Daniel (Nicole) Phillips; daughters: Theresa (Mike) Hendren and Janice (Paul) Gudenau. She was predeceased by her son, Steven. Jean also leaves behind 8 grandchildren: Stephanie (Jason), Megan, Laura (Kyle), Samantha (Brad), Chelsea, Chelsea (Troy), Nicole, and Kieran; as well as 11 great grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for Jean will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 9am to 11am at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038, followed by a funeral service at 11am.
