Jennie Ella Dewhirst

Jennie Ella Dewhirst, age 91, formerly of Warren, Michigan, passed away April 2, 2014. She was born in Arthur, Ontario on October 8, 1922. Jennie was married to the late John “Jack” Joseph on June 16, 1944. She was a member of the Metropolitan Club of Warren and had a passion for knitting and Bingo. Jennie was a very steadfast woman. She is survived by her loving children Nancy (James) Gault, Judith (Kenneth) Muir, and Donna (Joseph) Siemianowski, caring grandchildren Carol(Josef) Hudecek, Christina (Frank) Longman, Kellie Backer, Sean (Deana) Backer, Katie (Benjamin) Davis, Julie Muir, Ivan Becker, Cassandra Becker, and Darci Becker. 19 great grandchildren who knew her as G.G. She is survived by 2 sisters Eva Mayer of Bad Axe, Sadie Morrison of Windsor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by her son Jack Douglas; daughters-in-law Nancy and Suzanne Dewhirst; Son-in-law Ivan Becker; grandson Brian Dewhirst who leaves behind his wife Anne; and grandchildren John and Lucy Becker. Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI. Funeral In-state will be Saturday, April 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
