John worked for the Ludington News for 18 years, after he was in computer sales, marketing and then the Manager of Sunnybrook Lanes. He was a very family oriented man, and loved hosting Sunday Dinner at his home with everyone. John had a great sense of humor and was loyal to a fault. He was passionate about martial arts, he taught as a Sensei of NAAMA Karate for over 30 years. John had a second degree Black Belt in Tang Sudo and was a Member of the Black Belt Hall of Fame. He was an avid bowler and was also a Member of the Bowling Hall of Fame. He will be greatly missed.
John was married to the love of his life, Jennifer, for 25 years and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, John A. (Kai) Casbar II, Michael Casbar; grandchildren, Brayden, Mikaia, Kailee, Connor; his siblings, Brenda Casbar, Kim Casbar, and the late Debra Casbar; his furbabies Bonnie & Clyde.
A private family service will take place for John.
