John Patrick Sawyer

John Patrick Sawyer, age 61, passed away on October 13, 2020 in Clinton Township, Michigan. Born to Carl and Marie on March 28th of 1959; beloved husband to Debra; loving father to Krystal A. (Philip) Wolanin and John (Amanda) McCallister; cherished grandpa of 9; dear brother to Carl Sawyer, Roxanne Ruple, Perry Sawyer, and Tina (Corey) Franklin; he is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

John graduated from college with a bachelor’s in psychology and went onto work at TACOM for many years. Here he developed many friendships, as he is described as a being a “people magnet” with a huge heart. John was also an avid Razorbacks fan.

The family will greet friends at Kaul Funeral Home of Clinton Township on Thursday, October 15th from 1:00pm until 9:00pm, with a funeral service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humane Society of Macomb, 11350 Twenty Two Mile Road, Utica, Michigan 48317.
