Joseph (Papa Joe) Pellerito (58) of Clinton Township, Michigan, was called home to the Lord on May 21, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He passed away at home with his wife, Ronda at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Patricia Pellerito. Joseph was a devoted husband to his wife of ten years, Ronda Pellerito. In life and in death, it is these two hearts that will be together as one forever. He is survived by his children, Peter Pellerito and Angela Pellerito; stepchildren, Nicholas (Tifani) Baisden, Brian (Amanda) Baisden, Randy (Zana) Baisden, and Kaitlynn Baisden; grandchildren, Makayla, Courtney, Logan, Emma, Brielle, Brooklynn, Randy, Graciela, Elliana, and RyLee.
Joe has many family members in Tennessee and Indiana, along with countless close friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Metro Detroit area that will deeply miss him. In summer, Joe very much enjoyed spending time in Gladwin, Michigan, where he found comfort and joy relaxing with his wife at their cottage and spending time with friends. Joe was a kind, fun-loving, always smiling man, who found great happiness being surrounded by those he loved. He was taken from us too soon yet, he has left us with fond memories and an everlasting remembrance of his big smile.
There will be a celebration of life planned for a later time. Joe will be laid to eternal rest beside his parents in Banner Springs, Tennessee at the Springs Chapel Cemetery.
