Joseph C. Serra

Joseph Serra, age 63, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2016. Joe was the loving husband of Theresa for over 41 years. He also leaves behind his sons; Christopher (Lisa) and Michael, siblings; Samuel (Diane) and Sara (Joe), sister in law Debbie and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Joe was preceded in death by his brother Bill.

Joe, or Gee as his friends would call him, enjoyed golfing and boating at the cottage in Port Sanilac. He was also known as the gold fish king. Joe owned a route for Pepperidge Farms for over 37 years. He enjoyed coaching and playing hockey and baseball. He was very warm and affectionate and was a kid at heart. Joe was known as everyone’s favorite uncle. He was an amazing guy who had so much love for his family especially his princess, Theresa and his boys. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Joe, is going to miss him.

Visitation will take place at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Tues. March 22 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 at 9:30 am, instate at 9:00 am on Wed. March 23rd.
