Lucy M. Simmons, age 99, born in Leland Township, MI, passed away April 26, 2015 in Clinton Township, MI. Lucy worked for many years as a bookkeeper for a mortgage company and was an excellent cook, baker, also, liked to play bridge and was an avid reader. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Dear sister of Richard (Jeannie) Priest of Sterling Heights, Helen (Norman) Polhamus of Lake Lelanau, and Marian (Vern) Fleis of Lake Lelanau, MI. She was predeceased by parents Albert Priest and Rose Linguar, her siblings Alfred, Alice, and Margaret. Lucy will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015, 11:00 a.m. (Instate 10:30 a.m.) at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church in Clinton Township, MI.
