Marilyn J. Stephens, age 66, passed away on February 16, 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Anthony) Priziola, grandson Anthony Priziola, siblings Judi Vargo, Rick (Debbie) Weigel, Bob (Bonnie) Weigel, Tom (Barb) Weigel, Kathy (Dave) Grout and Jan (Tim) Kenaan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and June Weigel and brother-in-law, Dan Vargo.
Marilyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. She loved gardening, crafting, swimming, and attending her grandson’s soccer games.
Marilyn loved to spend time with her family, especially the big celebrations that included the annual family reunion in Port Austin every July. She chose nursing as a profession, but it was simply a way of life. Marilyn was dedicated nurse and caregiver for forty years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2 pm until 8 pm, with a scripture service at 7 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at noon at St Therese of Lisieux, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, MI 48315.
