Michael Walter Cienciera, age 79, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was born September 7, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Walter and Mary (Jedrzejek) Cienciera.
Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed sports, especially hockey and baseball. Mike had a great sense of humor and always made Donna laugh. They traveled to all 50 states, plus he traveled to South America and Europe for work. Our family will miss him so much. I love you Mike- Donna.
Mike is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Donna; their children, Rebecca (the late Mark) Gadette, Matthew (Christina) Cienciera; grandchildren, Jeanette (Beck) Saad, Jacob Cienciera, Steven Gadette, Ashley Cienciera; 2 great- granddaughters, Charlotte and Louise; a brother, Thomas (Barbara) Cienciera; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Stewart.
Instate for Michael will be Monday July 15th at 9:30 am with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038.
