Michelina was born in Buffalo, New York on November 25, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Gennarina (Petrillo) Acierno. As class president, Michelina graduated from Roseville High School in 1951. As the years went on, she kept in close contact with many of her classmates and attended every reunion. Her friendship knew no bounds. Starting during World War II, Michelina became pen pails with a young women from England and continued that friendship for many years. Michelina’s adventurous spirit kept her traveling all over the world. Some of her favorite places to visit were Italy, Spain, Jamaica, and Boca Raton, Florida. She found much delight in trying her luck at the casino or spending the day shopping. She cherished the friendships she made while golfing, bowling, and playing tennis. Her beautiful nature, humor, and bright smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Michelina was the loving wife of the late Phillip A. Moore for 13 years and the late Rudolph F. Campeotto for 47 years. She was the beloved mother of Karen (Francis) Campeotto-Diaz, the late Lynne (Giacamo) Provenzano, Mark (Karen) Campeotto, Phillip (Stacy) Moore, Lisa (Charles) Allen, Dale Moore, and Dean (Jill) Campeotto. She was the cherished grandmother of Brian, Aindrea, Dominic, Deana, Shayna, Allison, Michael, Kevin, Paige, Mia, Nicole, Michael, David, Phillip, and Sean. The wonderful great grandmother of Meka, Leah, Sophie, Jonathan, Liam, and Brady. She was the dear sister of Betty Thaxton, Agnes Maroon, and the late John Acierno.
