Michelle was my mother-in-law’s home infusion nurse. In our last conversation a week ago, Michelle and I reminisced about how she first came to our house when I was pregnant with my first child (as he ran around the kitchen on his little 2.5 year old legs). And there I was holding my second baby, 4 months old. Michelle had also been coworkers in labor & delivery with my sister-in-law Nou, so she had always felt very close to our family and to my boys, the first of which had grown to know her and become very fond of running around trying to impress her. 

Michelle was always such a big, warm, and wonderful presence in our home. My mother-in-law does not feel very confident speaking English but that never bothered Michelle, and it always helped my MIL feel at ease the way Michelle loved to chat.  In our last conversation I mentioned how I might take my toddler down the street to a garage sale and Michelle said jokingly serious that her mom said she was a terrible garage saler. And we talked about memories of terrible sellers and bad garage sale experiences. I think she liked to be polite to the sellers. We talked about how she always caved into ads about animal shelters needing food, etc., and she would buy food for them and her husband would ask about the purchases haha. Before she left the house I took my toddler outside and she left while we were out. I regret I didn’t get to say goodbye that last time. 

She was a kind soul and truly a light in this world. She left us far too soon and will be dearly missed.

Having the privilege of knowing all of  you over many years through Dinka Dental, you became more than patients …..you became friends and family.      Michelle and I shared many conversations regarding kids, grad parties, work and of course teeth!    I will miss her smiling face

I am very sorry to hear about Michelle's passing.  Paul, you and your kids and family will be in my thoughts.
I didn't know Michelle very well, having met her and Paul through mutual friends at house parties, but she always was kind, generous and graceful.  I see her signature on a poster that I received as a trophy for winning a game at one of those parties, and although she was not among the finalists, she signed her name with a smiley face, because that's how she was.  Her kindness and sense of humor will be remembered.

Michelle was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Her infectious laugh and smile would light up a room. Her and I worked together at Henry Ford Macomb. Michelle was one of the best. She truly had a Nurse's heart. I know her patients loved her.
I will forever hold her memory in my heart and my deepest prayers to her husband, Paul and her children Austin, Sydney and Allison.

I have had the privilege to work with Michelle for the past 5 years.  She was an amazing person and a wonderful nurse. Heaven has gained an angel.

Michelle was my home infusion nurse and I also knew her from working in the hospital as well as delivering my babies in the hospital. She was always so full of joy and smiles. We enjoyed talking, especially about family and faith, during my infusions. She spoke so highly of her children. My kids loved her too. If they were home during my appointment, she would talk to them and play games with them. My oldest said, “Mom remember when we sat outside and she played Go Fish with us?!” She is remembered so very fondly. Prayers for the Lord’s peace and comfort to all.

I first met the Darr family when our kids met at Dooley Toddle Time and then went on to preschool together. As the kids grew, we kept in touch via FB and annua Christmas Cards. Michelle and I reconnected once Austin was at De La Salle with my boys. Austin, Sydney and Allison were truly the apples of her eye! I will always remember Michelle's beautiful smile and infectious giggle. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a sweet soul. May her memory be eternal.

Michelle was a very kind and helpful person.  She was very welcoming when Josh first started at St. Thecla, and she stayed that way throughout his years at the school. May she rest in peace.  May God bless the family during this trying time.  Prayers and love being sent to the family.

She always greeted us with a big smile & pleasant conversation. She always had a kind word about our landscaping or my decor. I enjoyed helping her review swatches for your recent renovations. She was so excited with the finishes! 
There’s no doubt she’s had an impact in our community and she will be missed.

Michelle was truly a ray of sunshine! I have had the absolute honor and joy of sharing my day to day with her the last 3  years. Every week I looked forward to sharing a Wednesday morning meeting with her and our team to go over the week’s work. What was meant for work quickly became more than that. It was a place where 4 friends could share some coffee and conversation. We not only built a great working relationship, we built a friendship. I will forever miss this dear sweet friend of mine. Her laughter was infectious and the way she cared for her team and her patients was inspiring. This is not goodbye my dear friend, this is an I will see you later!

As a healthcare provider, Michelle dedicated her life to serving others. She was a light to many and an anchor to her family. We always looked forward to seeing Michelle at the office. She lit up our day.

My deepest condolences to Michelle's family and friends. I worked with Michelle. She was a very caring nurse and person, who had a great smile and was very funny. She will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

I hope you know how much I will miss that giggle. Michelle was the kindest, most gentle soul I have ever known.

To say I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Michelle's passing is an understatement. The Wisniewskis have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have fond memories of going to their house to play with Tracy and Michelle as a child. For as long as I've known Michelle, I can't picture what she looks like without a smile on her face, and that's how she'll remain in my memory - always smiling and jovial, just like her doting father. My deepest condolences go out to all who were lucky enough to have Michelle in their lives.

Mrs. Darr was always someone i knew i could talk to for anything. she was so encouraging and she would always congratulate me on any good plays or hits i got during softball. she helped me so many times and more then she knows. she always made everyone laugh and smile and she was just so enthusiastic and supportive. i hate to see her go and i wish i could’ve said goodbye but i think she’d be happy to know all of her words will carry on with me forever

To Sydney and family:

I am deeply saddened at your Mom's/wife's passing. She was a lovely lady, and always smiling. 

As for you Sydney, I will never forget you as a student and VP of the WCC. You were so very dedicated, and always smiling yourself.

I would like to come to the visitation, but am leaving for vacation.

she was such an encouraging and enthusiastic woman. so sad to see her go so soon and to see how heartbroken her family is. she raised amazing children who will carry on her legacy of putting others first. she was always saying “be the wall” behind the plate at the catchers and i will forever remember that. rest in peace.

Oh how my heart is broken for the news I heard today! Michelle was a patient where I worked I have known her and her whole family for 20 plus years I would consider them all not just patients but friends. I loved Michelle her personality would light up a room. Every time she came in  we would laugh and crack up!
