Miguel was born in Quilmes, Argentina, on November 10, 1938, to the late Pablo and Maria Michalco. He attended trade school in Argentina, where he became a skilled CNC machinist and later immigrated to the United States.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Miguel enjoyed playing soccer during his youth in Argentina and remained an avid follower of the sport throughout his life. He also enjoyed playing golf, walking outdoors and at Somerset Mall, and the Argentine tradition of asados with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Michalco; his son, Pablo Michalco (TiaMarie); and his beloved grandsons, Diego and Marco. He was preceded in death by his brother, Nicolai, and sister-in-law, Jorgelina.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3:00–8:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. Final place of rest, Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Miguel will be remembered for his love of family, his heritage, and his joy in life's simple moments.
